Suggested Prayers:
Thank You, Lord, for clearly demonstrating the importance of relationships. We ask for Your protection over all our relationships,
and for the wisdom to know how to love as you love.
Thank You, Father, for forefathers who established this country on the fact that You created all of us equal.
Thank You, dear Lord, for every loving relationship in our lives.
Thank Your for the profound blessings and goodness we experience through loving one another.
It is abundantly clear, Lord, that you designed us to be in relationships. We ask for the wisdom and insight and courage to love as You love, and to approach every relationship with You in mind.
We ask You to destroy the enemy’s attempts to destroy relationships.
Give us, Lord, appreciation and respect for the ways You created us different, one from another.
Forgive our judgments against others and place in our hearts generosity of spirit toward others.
Give us the grace to forgive each other’s mistakes, as You forgive ours.
Heal the wounds of our past, Lord, and set us free from division, dissension, deception & manipulation.
We pray for racial reconciliation, and we ask that true healing begin in the church. May the watching world see how, under the banner of Christ, true unity can be found.
We ask You to guide Americans into understanding, acceptance and love between the races.
In the Name of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we pray.
