Today's Focus: The Pursuit of Happiness

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue. ~2 Peter 1:3

But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice! ~Psalm 68:3

 

The suggested prayers below are a guideline to follow.

Suggested Prayers:

Thank You for our founders' foresight in establishing our God-given right to pursue our own destiny.

Lord, give Americans the desire to realize happiness through the pursuit of virtue.

We ask You to lead Americans away from the futility of chasing after false gods.

O God, we ask for freedom from addiction for our people.

We pray for an end to materialism in our nation.  We ask for Your forgiveness for our foolish longings for more things rather than longing for You.

Thank You for giving us a hunger that only You can satisfy.

In the Name of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we pray.
